April 23rd Kaunas gathered over 4000 enthusiasts who took part in “Kaunas Akropolis Marathon “, held for the 11th time.

The participants were able to try out their skills and test their limits in challenging themselves to run distances varying from 400m to 42km.

Representatives from Kaunas Applied Engineering Sciences did not fall behind and took part in this symbolic event. Furthermore, the university members won the 2nd place among the higher education schools as the institution that have completed the longest distance in the marathon.

This achievement is a great proof of how doing exercise and keeping fit forms a significant part of daily routine in our society as well as Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences.
