Kaunas Technical College awards Professional Bachelor degree.

Students can choose from:

10 first study cycle (Bachelor) programmes in the following study areas: Civil engineering, Transport and Mechanical engineering, Electronics engineering, Electrical engineering.

Academic calendar

The academic year consists of an autumn and a spring semester.

Autumn semester

Lectures: 1 September – 23 December

Christmas holiday – 24 December – 1 January

Examination session – 2 – 29 January

 

Spring semester

Lectures: 1 February – 20 May

Examination session – 21 May – 06 June  

Summer holiday – 1 July – 31 August  

 

Organization of studies

Study programme

Degree study programme is a totality of study subjects that are mandatory to be completed and assessed.

Study module

Basic unit of study planning is study module; it consists of independent study subject, which is taught for one semester. Study module can consist of various combinations of lectures, lab works, practice, seminars, student's independent work, scientific research work, designing or other works.

Study module can be mandatory, alternative (optional from the list), and optional.

Studies of each module are completed by evaluation of student's knowledge and skills – examination or student's independent work (project) is evaluated by a mark.

Forms of studies

Studies are full-time and part-time. Full-time studies last for 3 years, part-time studies last for 4 years. Students are also provided with the opportunity to study according to the individual study schedule.
