Kaunas technical college develops international activities, strengthens relations with foreign partners, and looks for new ways of cooperation. This year a “Material processing engineering” fourth year student Rolandas Šertvytis became an exceptional graduate. His supervisor of the graduation thesis is a lecturer from Riga technical university and Riga technical college, associated professor Viktor Gutakovskis. Throughout the study year achieving the best results, the student courageously meets the challenges he faces - write the graduation thesis, communicating with the supervisor in a foreign language, and prepare a publication for the graduation thesis on the topic “Turning machine guides repair technology”.

On 7th December 29 students from SP “Automobile technical maintenance” and lecturers Andrius Dargužis and Darius Juodvalkis went to educational excursion to Riga. In Riga they were met by Coordinator of International relations Lora Berkovica who introduced Riga technical college. Then a united team of lecturers - A. Dargužis and D. Juodvalkis from KTK and Sanita Eihmane from RTK read a lecture about automobile structure. Students also had a possibility to visit laboratories and newly opened Toyota Training Centre. Practical part of the lecture was organized in Riga Motor Museum, where students could actually see the car units from the appearance of automobile till the end of 20th century.
