Since September 1, 2002 young people study at the Kaunas Technical College, which is set up on the basis of the Kaunas Higher Technical school under the mutual presentation of the Ministry of Science and Education  and The Kaunas University of Technology.

In this high school young people in three years’ period will acquire high non-university education, engineer’s qualification and the Diploma of high education. The possibility, after getting the education, to enter the job market in a short period of time, corresponds to the job market’s demands and is one of the most important advantages of this educational institution.

Gifted and advanced students, after winning the competition, can study and practice at the colleges of Germany, Norway and Denmark, with which our school cooperates.

Additional Studies
The exclusive feature of the Kaunas Technical college is the possibility to additionally acquire the qualification in computer network engineering and maintenance, which is acknowledged on the international scale. The school is the official division of the CISCO Networking Academy. You can fulfill the 280 hour teaching program and get knowledge and skills for maintaining small and medium size computer network, as well as prepare for the CCNA Certificate examination. With this Certificate a person is expected to work in the biggest companies of information technologies all over the world.

Another exclusive feature of the school is the possibility, together with the engineering studies, to graduate from the S. Rastikis non-commissioned officer school commander courses. After the graduation a student will be ranked as an officer-reservist. He will be able to work at the military structures according to the qualification acquired or in civil structures, where military service is a must.
